"Letting the Light of Christ shine!"
MISSIONS: THE HEART BEAT OF THE CHURCH
Crenshaw Community Baptist Church has a biblical perspective concerning missions and church planting, and believes that every church should do their part.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
JERUSALEM: Crenshaw Community Baptist Church understands our obligation to the Lord Jesus Christ that we are to be salt and light in Crenshaw County.
Matthew 5:13-16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; nor does it give light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
JUDAEA: We have teamed up with Alabama – Northwest Florida Baptist Bible Fellowship in an attempt to plant impact churches in Alabama, our Judaea, in order to reach every people group. We do not exclude those that are not of our ethnicity or culture, cherry picking parts of the GREAT COMMISSION that is suitable to our congregation while others wander in darkness.
The Brothers Of Cyrene, a group of African American pastors, who have come together in an attempt to plant churches in their community. They encourage and assist our Caucasian brothers in reaching African American, and planting churches in their communities, staying true to the Great Commission in reaching everyone everywhere.
SAMARIA: Our church is actively involved with Baptist Bible International and other groups, who are interested in propagating the gospel and planting churches in the United States.
THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH: We support many missionaries from Independent Baptist churches and mission boards, as we attempt to reach the uttermost parts of the earth with the gospel, as mandated by the Lord.
